Ms. Schiff is an independent insurance agent with Schiff Executive Benefits. Prior to Schiff Executive Benefits, Ms. Schiff was Director of Executive Benefits for The NIA Group. For many years, Ms. Schiff was Controller and Senior Account Executive of NYLEX Benefits, a subsidiary and the executive benefits consulting arm of New York Life Insurance Company, a Fortune 100 company with $112 billion in corporate assets and about $178 billion of assets under management. NYLEX Benefits specializes in the design, implementation, financing, and providing ongoing administrative support of supplemental executive benefits programs.
Prior to joining NYLEX Benefits, Ms. Schiff served as Controller and Senior Account Executive of Clark/Bardes Partners, the successor to Insurance Alliances Group, Inc. Prior to IAG, Ms. Schiff was Regional Director of Marketing for The Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York (MONY), as well as an insurance agent with MONY. In addition, Ms. Schiff was an adjunct instructor at Manhattanville College.
Ms. Schiff graduated from Marymount College of Fordham University, Tarrytown, New York and holds a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) Degree from Manhattanville College. In addition, Ms. Schiff received her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) Professional Designation in 1977, her Chartered Financial Consulting (ChFC) Professional Designation in 2005 and her Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) Professional Designation in 2008, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) in 2012 and her Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) in 2017 from The American College. Ms. Schiff is the past President of the Alumni Association of the American College and in the Foundation Board, and Mass Mutual center for Special Needs board of directors.
Ms. Schiff is a Life member of the Million Dollar Round Table, The New York Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, The Association of Advanced Life Underwriters and has served on committees as:
• Former Chairperson – Million Dollar Round Table Exhibit Committee;
• Former Chairperson – Committee on Committees, NY Chapter Society Financial Service Professionals;
• Former Board Member – NY Chapter Business and Professional Women.
In her community activities, Ms. Schiff served as:
• Acquisitions Chairperson – Greenwich Academy Mothers’ Board Benefit;
• Treasurer – Greenwich Academy Mothers’ Board Benefit;
• Chairperson – University of Rochester Parents’ Council.
Ms. Schiff and her husband Bud reside in Stamford, Connecticut. They have two grown children, Matthew and Kara, and seven grandchildren, Courtney, Alexa, Nicholas, James, Ty, Sophia, and Noah.
